Looks like the dimmensions are the same, so tell me why I can't swap the batteries around? I'm about to trade in the truck and recently bought a new battery.
you should be able to swap batteries, just make sure you can tie-down the battery properly. i would assume the xterra battery is rated for a high amperage anyway, might be better in your sentra, should turnover no problem.
So it might work, might not. They are different size codes because the terminals are swapped since the batteries are on opposite sides. Not sure if there was enough battery cable to do it, so I let this one go. On a good note though, the dealership offered me $1500 for the Xterra, and it has a few bent valves from the timing belt braking.
you dont switch the terminals, you spin the battery around. so the negative battery is near the sidewall to ground it, and the positive terminal is towards the passenger side, even it the words are upside down its ok. im just not sure about the height of the battery to tie it down properly, but it shouldve fit. sorry to hear about the xterra.
