I plan on ordering AEM CAI within the next couple days and i dont know which size bypass valve to get for my car? I dont know which application goes with the CAI for my car?
its a good safety for the "just in case". I was skeptical about getting one but when I heard that the thing become functional until the filter gets soaked, i was convinced it was something to have just in case
i understand prob 2/3 of the people on this would tell me to not purcahse the bypass so i didnt ask for that reason. Im gonna get it for peace of mind either way. But i dont know what size valve? so does ne one know?
I don't think SE's can have bypass valves, unless you want to cut up the piping. I had a bypass valve on my CAI and it was in between the MAF adapter and the lower intake piping. On the Spec V CAI the piping is a consistent 3" from the MAF to the Lower intake piping, whereas on the SE it gets smaller.
