Peter was driving west bound with two passengers. They were speaking about normal teenage guys talk about. Music, College, etc. Traveling westbound at 30 mph, Peter decided to turn on the windshield washers. It was Dusk and the ignorant teenager was neglectant of the bright sun refractions from off of the water, consequently running a stop sign. Driving down a street he drives every day; THE tricky intersection grabs another victim.

The neighbors have been talking about that intersection; accident after accident. This was no different. The Jade 2001 Sentra SE T-Boned a compact pickup truck. As the airbags flashed and the SR20 tilted, the teen was left in ruins. The car that he had worked for and finally achieved, was seen as another statistic. The distraught teen is me, and IT can happen to you.

I hope that this is an April fools joke, cuz I am not laughing. damn if it did happen, I am soooo sorry man, I remember when the engine blew in my bros car and I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere(Turnpike). damn oh well, hopefully you have reallly good insurance and that you don't kill yourself over it, it can happen anyday. Hope this helps even just a fraction of a bit, later

Yup guys, it's true. It't not just a stupid April Fool's joke. I am 17 and am about to graduate this may. My passengers are good friends that are being supportive and are sheading laughter into the situation.

Car got towed to the shop and hopefully it will be a full write off. I don't think so, because I was only going 30mph. It looks to me that my engine is slightly tilted, the front and quarter panels are obviously gone, the hood and windshield need to be replaced, airbags, center console, glove compartment, maybe tranny, engine mounts, radiator, hoses, battery, intake box(good thing hotshot didn't fit!), and random containers.

That is just a visual check without dismanteling anything. I am uncertain if there is any frame damage. If there is, then i'm in a new sentra! I don't think so though; I should get it back in 2-3 months!

wow man. glad you and your friends are ok. sounds the identical to my situation a little less than a year ago in every way, except that in mine i rear ended somebody (that i already wasnt too close with) from my school. if you and you're friends are ok, then everything else will eventually will work out. in a few months this will all just seem like a bad dream. just make sure you learn from this, as i did too, and keep closer attention from now on. best of luck.

Well, I am glad your all o.k. and I really hope that your Sentra is totalled. I would hate to have a car with an accident on its record. That will hurt you if you try to sell it. If I ever get in a wreck, I will keep driving my car into a wall until I think it is totalled. I hope everything works out for you.

Oh, one more thing. I used to work at Honda (don't flame me) and I had to set off old air bags. Those things are extremely loud. They also smell real bad because a whole bunch of gas is released. I just want to know how the whole air bag experience worked out.

airbag situation worked out alright. Noone got burned, and I think it saved my friend's ***! I hope it's NOT totalled because I won't get all of my money back! I won't be able to get a new SE because of a budget problem, so that leaves me with a civic!! ERRGGHHH!!! Worst week of life, sorry.

Someone got rear ended [Bonesmuggler?] and after a second opinion, the shop said that the car was a write off.
