I have a 2005 Sentra SE-R Spec V I recently installed an entire exhaust system on. Header/Downpipe 4-2-1 from xTune (cheapo crap but it's all I could find since Megan Racing discontinued their Header and Downpipe [P/N TS-HE-NS00-V]) and Megan Racing NA Type catback system [P/N MR-CBS-NS01] for an 02-03 SE-R Spec V.
Went in fairly easy, however had to retool the outside fittings on the header as they were just too small to attach to the exhaust manifold. They fit on the bolts but would not go around the threads so I removed 1/8" of the outside holes. Went on fine after that. Also the one good thing about the xTune header/downpipe combo is that it comes with ports for both O2 sensors and they went in fine.
You will have to move your alternator out of the way in order to remove and reinstall the header. I had my car on a frame lift so it was easy to get everything off and back on. Car sounds great now and the Megan catback system gives it a nice rumble. I haven't dyno'd my car yet to see what kind of hp/torque gain I've gotten but as I don't have an initial baseline with all of the stock parts I can't really get a good difference in the numbers.
Just figured I would post on here in case anyone had any questions. Also the Megan catback was made for an 02-03 SE-R Spec V so the muffler hangers in the back are at an angle and the rear hanger is in the wrong spot. The piping itself follows the path and is up there well, I've been over multiple speedbumps with no issues so it's secure underneath the car. I'm going to purchase some muffler tape for the midpipe section as it's sitting on one of the supports and rattles a little.
If anyone has any questions about installation feel free to ask. I'll post a video with what it sounds like when I get a chance.
