Anyone know where the line from top of automatic trans connects to on a 2001 sentra 2.0? I assume its a vacuum line of some sort.It ends up next to the base of the air intake tube that goes from filter box to throttle body. There is a fitting on the intake tube but it already has a line connected to it that runs under the throttle body. I just noticed that it is not connected. Anyone in the know?

im now thinking it may be a vent. would feel better knowing for sure though.

yea, a hose coming off the top of the tranny, and isnt connected to anything, sounds like its just the vent hose. it used to hang from the intake, maybe your was previous moved/modded and the hose left hanging.
