I noticed today, on my way home from work, that there is a ticking noise coming from my passenger front. I'm almost certain it's coming from the wheel, because the moment I begin to apply any brake pressure the noise stops. Any thoughts on what might be happening? It doesn't make the noise when I'm not moving, or while coasting--it seems to happen only while the vehicle itself is gaining momentum.

did you check your brakes? your sliders might be stuck or something. and check your oil level as well.

Turns out I needed new brakes--I always listened for a squeaking rather than a ticking noise while driving. It also turns out my rotors were rusting out.
