"Russels lines use swaged fittings. SMC uses real
compression hydralic fittings. Swaged fittings are
cheaper to make but are not as positve to me. SMC's
fittings allow the line to be replaced also when it
gets old.

SMC lines also have an anti chafe layer that helps
prevent the lines from sawing into stuff and abrading.
You can get this in clear or colors if you want.

That's why SMC lines are better."

"I have probably told this story but here it goes again.. I will never sell
anything other than SMC, EVER. I sold 2 pairs of the other name brand lines,
both pairs failed, one causing a head-on into a pole, the other totaling the
car. From then on i've completely stopped selling them.

I've sold many many SMC lines, have never had a problem, and if you hold a
Goodridge line in one hand and an SMC in the other, you can instantly see
how much better the SMC are."

That's why I purchased them I heard alot of good things about SMC's quality...Yeah I could have gotten a set a litlle cheaper but a sacrifice of quality would have been taken and I strongly live by the saying you get what you pay for......

But thanks Blitz for putting this whole deal together for us.....
