Hey Guys,

My left front suspension is making noise when compressed either from a driveway, a dip or a speed bump. It groans and clunks. I've got Koni's and Prokit springs. I took apart the left strut and there were not issues so I took the car to a mechanic. He told me both struts were broken (inside) and my motor mount was loose ( I also have the Energy MM inserts)! I'm just going to pick it up because I know there is nothing wrong with the struts and I can do the MM myself. I'm going to check that tonight. I thought is was the axle and guess it still could be. There is nothing else loose in the suspension. Any suggestions? Both struts he said. Lying sob!

the valving inside the strut could be toast, not sure on your setup, but i would double check the top mounts, those are common for making noise. but really, any bushing could make noise in the suspension.

Most people dont just out right lie like that lol. not taking sides cuz he could be. Id be asking the question... "If hes telling the truth, how did these expensive shocks I have brake?" Maybe look into your suspension set up, I know the konis are adjustable, and im not sure how "low" your vehicle is but maybe they weren't set up stiff enough or something of that nature.

Maybe it could be the rack and pinion or somthing. I mean you would know if a tie rod was broken. Only thing i can think of aside from the shock it self
