Well let me first say Hi to everyone, as this is my first post.

I recently purchased a 2000 sentra Se w/ 13,000 miles, standard tranny. While leaving the DMV I got into my car and tried to start it but nothing happened, The battery was fine, and I heard the fuel pump kick in, but when I turn the key there was nothing, no click, no turning over, nothing. Its at nissan getting looked at right now, just curious if anyone has any idea what it might be, Im thinking starter or maybe the distributor.

thanks
JZ

The key has a transistor in it. Failure to use the correct with the correct value in it kills the fuel system. Perhaps that may be it.

Anyways, let the dealer figure it out.

Had to ask...

You are aware that you have to put the clutch in to start it right?
