Hey guys,

I'm an idiot and over tightened the bolt that holds the cover to the block on the qg and snapped the mofo.. (I was putting in ground wires). Any idea on how to get the fugger out? and is it even necessary to get it out?

HELP!

-dumbass w/o a torque wrench

Drill it through the center and either:

a) use an ez-out to remove it

or

b) drill it out completely and just retap the hole

if you did not cross thread it there should be zero load on the rest of the bolt. This means you can use a screw extractor to remove whats left of the bolt. You can also just leave it alone because 1 broken bolt in that location should not cause any adverse effects.
