Spoke with a lady driving a 2005 1.8L Sentra today -- said she is in sales and drives a lot. She just turned 250,000 miles on it. That is incredible!

I wonder if mine will go that far.

im sure a 1.8 will go a lot farther than the 2.5, im over 268,000 miles, with another blown headgasket and im contemplating fix all the issues, or get another car :X

191K miles. Ac died yesterday but all I needed was a $10.00 can of refrigerant. Might stay cold for a week - maybe a year. Who knows?

Engine does not leak or burn oil. 5 spd. manual shifts great. All the electrics work. No reason why these cars - with the proper care - shouldn't go 250K + miles. Parts are readily available making them relatively cheap. Nissan sold a few boatloads of them so most the shops know their way around them.
