i was cruising home one late wednesday night..... about 12:30ish...... (i live in Northern SD).... and i saw a line of cars comming off of Scripps Poway Pkwy/ Mercy on to the freeway headed north. I was thinking maybe they came from Wild Animal Park off the 67 and took a little detour to ditch the cops......

just wondering if anyone has hit the Northside runs.... because SD is burnt up the ***!!! i went last weekend and cops were everywhere.....

I also hear that people hit up in front of the old GM building...... just curious on what tracks people hit up now a days..... have been in the flow for like a year now.....

I am planning to hit up the Northside runs tomorrow.... see how their scene is..... i hear there are a couple of tracks up there....

so yah... if anyone has anything info on how the runs have been like lately.. please post!

Lemme know how the races went. I kinda stay away from that scene now- too much BS compared to 2-3 years ago. Also, I already got impounded once for speed contest. If anyone finds any new spots, cop free, then I'll start going again.

races were *** as usual... i didnt get out till 1:30.... cops at every spot.... i need to start at 12:00 next time.... i hear people run in front of the old GM building... or something..

The GM building or the GD building near Convoy? I loved it after they repaved it (used to be rocks on one side, potholes on the other and one lane each direction). I guess Poway got blocked in Sat night. It's just not liked it used to be...

Ya, GD was repaved about 1 1/2 years ago but its practically brand new. Poway is Scripps Poway Pkwy about 2 miles east of the freeway in the industrial area. I heard Wild Animal Park goes off every Wed night but I have seen too much sh*t go down there, I don't like that track. They still try to break off Mira Mesa (not Firehouse but Sorrento Valley). I think things need to move East if they're gonna start popping off again like they did years ago.

That's because the police often monitor BBS like this one to find out where everyone is racing at.
That's how a number of ClubSi members got caught at one of their infamous canyon runs.

Trust me, I am not posting these spots thinking nobody in law enforcement in reading them. There's a much bigger site- www.sdstreetracing.com that already posts all the spots in San Diego and pics of the cars racing (no license plates usually) and tells stories of the races each weekend and where to look the next weekend. Anything I write isn't anything new- the cops know the spots- there's just not enough of them and way too many racers to be at every one all the time. I just won't waste my time at the old spots anymore since my car sticks out way too much.

welp..... i went to the runs on friday and sat...... it was going off!!!!!! i went out at 12:30 on friday... runs went off for 2 hours....... on sat i got out a little late, 2:30 kearny poppin offtill 4 in the morning!!...... very good weekend..... i got a lot of racing in too!!!!

not to sound full off myself, but i didnt loose to often, somewhere close to 0!!!! my first run on fri was against an RX-7.... and that was the only one i lost..... the..... were all me, with a couple of neck and neck runs......

all in all, it was a fun weekend!!! we have fast cars peeps!!! dont let any little rocket try to call you out.... you take em.....
