Maybe this is a stupid question, but after reading the FSM it appears that I have to remove the valve cover to replace the PCV valve?

Has anyone changed theirs on a 2002 QR25DE?

Make sure you're looking at the instructions for QR25DE. that manual also has the QG18.

As I understand it, the qr25 uses CVTC and valve overlap to do away with the a having pcv valve

Hope I'm right about this...

The QR25DE does have a PCV valve. It is located at the top, center rear of the cam cover (valve cover). You'll just have to take your plastic engine cover off to get to it, not the valve cover. (3 bolts). The PCV valve has a hose going from it directly into the intake plenum.

Thanks a lot for the information. I'll be honest and tell you I hadn't looked for it, I had just looked through the manual from the comfort of my leather desk chair.

Maybe I'll be able to look Sunday, after the downpour is gone.

Thanks!
