I want to remove the sentra badge, planning to use dental floss on a hot afternoon, but I can't remember what you use to get rid of the glue residue without damaging the paint.

Little reminder please?

Use this stuff called Goof Off.....just put some onto a soft cloth or tissue and rub it lightly until the glue is completely gone....But make sure you throw some wax on the area after you are done,,cause remember it hasn't seen any wax yet.....

Some people have had problems with "invisible" residue that stays on the paint. When the car gets dirty, you can see an outline of the badge that used to be there.

To combat that problem, I used 3M Imperial hand glaze after I removed the bulk of the glue. It really cleans the surface. It will also get rid of any scratches that you may have caused during the badge removal. There is no evidence that I ever had a badge on the back of my car. :)

As Gene said, be sure to wax afterwards.
