If anyone is interested. Pep Boys has a sale on ramps. They are nylon and have a rubber pad so they don't slip. They are rated at 12,500 lbs. Excellent ramps. I used 'em and was looking around underneath. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the car. While I was under there I even waxed the auto trans oil pan and engine oil pan. Pretty wild and crazy, huh. I origionally thought the filter was best changed from above, but it looks like underneath is the way to go. :)

You waxed the oil pans! I guess you needed to do something while it was on the ramps :)

Hey Al,

You forgot to tell us how much they were on sale for. The ones they sell at Autozone are about $30-$40. I am looking at getting a set soon. Sure beats jacking your car up.

I believe they are called Rhino Ramps and are very good. They are longer and the grade isn't as steep as with the steel ones so they fit where others won't. Of course if your car is scraping the sand off the road nothing will help you. That sale price is great. I bought mine years ago when they were mail order only and paid $65 per set.
