ok , i was just on the unorthodox racing pulley site and i found an application for the owners of teh 1.8L engine. it is a Type ultra S pully for 2000 and 2001 1.8L DOHC engines. for like around $200. i believe the part number is 0210108_, i emailed them and this what they said.

The previous generations 1.6L pulley should apply, it seems that your
engine is just a 1.8L version of the previous 1.6L.

if anybody wants to do a gruop deal for this, i am in. if not i will order them anyway.

What kind of performance gains are expected? Will it still use the original belts?
Performance gains won't be much, but you will see somewhere between 1-4 HP gains. Not sure with the new 1.8L engines. I'm hoping for a decent increase.

I don't think you'll use original belts due to size difference.

Not so much HP gain as...

... just an increase in response sensitivity. You're engine will get up to a good HP producing speed much quicker than before with the pulley.

The belt sizes will be smaller for the pulley installed, that stock.
