Hey i have a 2006 specv full ti-c greddy exhaust, nismo cold air intake and i just picked up a pair of OBX SSracing headers 4-2-1.. when installing the headers is it best to also buy a resonator or will it sound/deeper without one? I bought a OBX high flow resonator 18'' just in case but i wanna know if itll sound better with or with out it... my car sounds really good as is just I/E very deep..is the res gonna make it deeper with the headers or should i just run no res??:eek:

with another resonator it should sound deep, without any cats, it will sound more raspy. the catback is what makes the tone to the exhaust, so either way it will be deep tone with your ti-c, compared to other catbacks.

if you dont like how it sounds without the resonator, you could always add it in after. just remove the piece of pipe where the resonator is going to weld it in. it is a lot easier to weld in the resonator after the header has been installed, this way you can tact it in place while its on the car, remove the pipe and finish welding on the bench. also, seeing you have a 3piece, youll only need to remove the piece thats getting the resonator (3rd piece?), assuming you still want one.
