Yes and no. The QR20 is basically a destroked QR25, meaning that they share the same bore diameter (89mm) but the stroke in the 20 is shorter (80.3mm versus 100mm in the 25). The QR20 wasn't meant to be marketed in the US but you can use the pistons in the QR25, which would bump your compression ratio real good....the direct replacement for a QR25 is another QR25 (I'm not sure the QR20 would use the same engine mount locations that the QR25 does), but if you're looking to use the QR20 internals, it can be done....

Thanks for quick respond, Im not looking for internal interchange, I just wonder if you can swap the QR25DE by QR20 engine? The QR25 has blown head gasket.

you can do anything you want if you have enough money to do it. the qr20 will not bolt in, it has different mounting locations, different electronics, so youll need to do quite a bit of work to get it in there. you can use a qr25de motor from a 02-03 sentra or similar year altima qr25 and it will bolt into place. if you decide to change the headgasket, you can look into 07+ headgasket and headbolts, and while the motor is apart, i would put new rings on it in case it was burning oil.
