Hey everyone,

I was leaving workf or lunch today and, while my car was RUNNING, pushing in the clutch would cause the starter to fire up.

Stopped happening the second time I started my car. Any ideas?

Are you positive there is not a possibility that your hands acted out of habit? Did you do any push start mods?
No push start mods. I could do it while cruising at 50 kph as well. Thankfully these cars don't require you to kiss the floor in order to shift gears. Didn't come back while leaving work today either.

The car is going into the mechanic's tomorrow to get some brake inspections done. I'll definitely pitch these ideas. I didn't even know cars could do this.

yea, check the connections to the start and see if anything is not supposed to be there. otherwise it sounds like you have something wrong with the key cylinder, bad ground, bad wire, etc. but this is a first.
