First off let me say these mounts are SOLID!
With the idle set at 700 RPM it rattled pretty badly. and comming off idle the whole car shuddered like if you were about to stall even when babying the clutch.

After raising the idle to 950 with the Consult-II Vibrations at idle are almost the same as MMI's with A/C on.

These mounts are AMAZING though. Throttle response is instant no waiting for the stock mounts to squat a little bit. The jerking around when your in 1st at too low RPM is gone. and whats wheel hop again?

From what i was told these are press in mounts i receieved everything complete and prepressed from Worldcrafter he knows of a way to get them in without taking it to a shop im sure he'll chime in and ill add it up here.

ill have to get videos of a launch with these mounts on

as for eta ive sent a email to them asking ill let you guys know ASAP.

Lube the mounts with grease or petroleum jelly pick your poison

Do everything in Reverse order and your good to go!

One thing though. if you do have the $4 washer mod. it is a PITA getting them back in because the rear mount is now centered instead of offset like the stock one

good job Jay, I'll send Prothane a link to this page and maybe they can hop on the board and let us know if/when these mounts will go on sale. all it needs is approval from the product manager.

by the way, I received the mounts with them pressed in like that. I do know how to press mounts in without a press though--some guys on sr20forum do this as well. Simply knock out the old mount/ring from the stock motor mount shells, lift either front tire of your car up with a jack, place the mount shell right underneath the middle of your tire, place the polyurethane mount on top of the mount shell (after lubing it up with grease), then lower the car again with the jack, which lowers the tire onto the mount, pressing it into the shell. works great, done it multiple times for the prothane mounts on my b13 :)

Hi Folks, I just stumbled upon this forum and bought the energy MMI's. I'm having a heck of a hard time just accessing the rear bolt. Do you guys take the O2 sensor off to access that bolt? What do you guys do?

I have a 17MM holding that mount in place and the white thing on the left side of the picture gets in the way of access to the bolt.

Also, the reason why I got the MMIs is because I suspected bad mounts were contributing to the rumble during low gear engages. Maybe I also have a different problem? The video is below:
