Prices for New Sentra's

Hey,

I recieved my 2001 Sentra SE in the end of november. I had to wait almost 3 months to take delivery of it. I was curious as to the amount paid by everyone (especially in Canada) for their cars.

I researched online for mine and eventually purchased the car through a referred dealer. I got the car for about $500 over dealer invoice.

If anyone is interested, I still have a copy of the invoice prices (in CDN) if anyone is curious.

I somehow ripped off our dealer: $15,100 for new 2k SE w/PP, factory roof, and deflector. No trade.

Suckers. . . I don't think they knew what they had.

You got a helluva deal. You'd be hard pressed to find a dealer discounting an SE like that now. Your lucky if the dealer has one!

BTW, it's nice to see another Fellow Coloradan on the board. I guess that makes for a total of 3 now.

I have a written estimate for a Black SE 5sp w/pp for $26493 total back in December.

If you don't mind, I would like to see a copy of that invoice. You can send me a private message or email me at:

Well, you have to remember the differences in US and Canadian pricing. MSRP for a P/P SE 5spd with a sunroof is $16,994.00.

Are you guys posting with or without taxes? Those prices seem kinda high, even jcb55's at 15,100!

I got my 5-spd Jade 2001 Sentra SE w/PP on december 23. I didn't get the disc changer, ABS, side impact, leather or sunroof. I paid 14,700 USD w/o tax. Did I get a really good deal, or am I not adding something?

Mine was without tax, but the $15,100 did include dealer handling and their bs filing fees and such. The roof was about $500 more. Considering invoice on my car was $15,900 and MSRP is $16,900, I think I did great (and so did you!).

My total cost was just under $25K with taxes. In US dollars that would be about $16'250.

P.s. My car had every option except for the useless Automatic.

My 01 SE was $14,800.00 here. Also got the 3.9% financing. Pretty sweet deal. Got it on Dec. 29th. Also didn't tell them I had a trade in untill the price for the new car was agreed on, and got a reasonable amount for my trade.
(no sales tax in Oregon)

Got my 2001 Sentra SE w/ PP manual in October 2000 for 16,200 out the door.

$15750

I can't believe anyone could get one for under $15K. My $15750 included a $270
advertising fee, but other than that it
was sold at the invoice price.

Unless other dealers are letting customers
dip into their dealer holdbacks, or they are paying much less for their cars than the Wisconsin dealers, I don't see how it is possible to get a 2001 for under $15K.

Reading off my window sticker prices - I paid exactly 17k (all options except cd changer) so, minus ABS @ 700, and sunroof @ 600, I'm at 15,300. $600 higher than you, so your really right in line considering your options.

I got my 2000 plain SE (manual, Anti-theft, Side air and ABS) for 15000, not including tax, which was 500 below invoice. They originally tried to sell it for 20,000, the bastards. I got 5.9 apr.
I bought it in November.

Sentra SE, Jaded, ABS, S airbag, Nismo rocket booster. TypeR sticker, Models in swim suits.
Invoice was 15,900 and he took off 500, so I got her for 15,400 black se/pp.

NMAC at first declined my financing (deservedly so), then said ok @ 16.9% after the dealership harassed them! I would have been paying ~$470 month for 5 years! Ended up with 6.9%.
