hello everyone, my name is Jeffrey and I bought a 2003 Spec-V over the summer to commute with. Nice car, putting a header on today and am looking forward to many happy miles in the car I am naming "Sybil"... you may as why. I have a phantom vibration in the from end that comes and goes in a matter of miles.

thanks i68k... butterflies are next! I think I've eliminated the front end vibration once and for all. New drivers side hub and bearing. I bought this car out of state having a former buddy (SCCA racer) look the car over for me. He said the hubs were bad, got the dealer to "supposedly" replace the hubs. I guess the dealer lied!!! but the car is really running great now... so freakin' happy:)

update on Spec V

little by little getting the car sorted. New front rotors and pads, front hub and bearing (drivers), new KYB's, Megan header, Ecometer, Conti DWS's on new Moda MD12's and Blizzaks on the stock rims.

The gas mileage is worse than I expected, but the Ecometer has helped to boost the combined mileage to 26-27 mpg's. But, it's torture to not get on it.

Upcoming mods in spring will include the butterfly mod, window tint and Weathertech wind deflectors.

I really need to quiet the exhaust (don't like the attention)... it will have to wait till spring also.

I've realized, the more I drive it, the more I like it. When asked about my new commuter, I reply "it's like a Japanese BMW".

Happy Holidays to all!
