Front Brakes & Rotors

I plan on replacing my front rotors and brake pads here in the next couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me the torque specs for the calipers? I'm guessing I'm going to need to take the caliper bracket off as well in order to get the rotor removed, correct? All torque specifications for this process would be appreciated.

Let me know if you need the rears and if so whether you have disc or drum.

this diagram is in the fsm, you should download the fsm for free around here somewhere if youre doing your own work.

you are correct, you need to remove the caliper bracket to get the rotor off.

there are a few write-ups around here somewhere. make sure you lube up your sliders.
if you plan on doing the rears and have rear calipers, you will need a disc brake cube, or special tool, to press the piston back into the caliper. the front caliper you can just use a regular c-clamp.
