I just bought a 2001 GXE Saturday. It's a cloud white 5 speed with the sand cloth interior. I previously owned a 97 civic ex. I can tell you the sentra feels stronger than my civic did with an aem cai, dc sports 1 piece cc 421 header and greddy evo exhaust system! Are there any low cost performance mods available?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the board! Finally, another Cloud White owner.
I think we are the only two on the board.

As for the mods....things are a bit sparse right now...especially for the 1.8 motor. That will change over time though.

Yea,, welcome man. A lot of different personalities here but you'll get a lot of good info here and maybe a little bs once in a while. Some of the bs could be mine.

I know what you mean. I had a 97 civic ex coupe with I/E and I just bought a 2001 Se with PP last week. I can definatly tell the difference between the modded civic and the stock sentra. The sentra would get my vote and its totally stock.

I love hearing when new people first post and say "I just got my new car!".

It's so cool, you can just feel the excitement in their message. I always read the new owner posts, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Hopefully I'll be posting that kind of message just after christmas. We'll see...still dreaming of my SE-R.

I was always a mud flap type of guy but ultimately mud flaps caused more damage where they connect to wheel well. They look ugly, kill gas milage (probably). Personally I'll just keep a good coat of wax in that area and the hell with flaps.
