Motor swap

Hello everyone. I am new to this thread and have just picked up at 06 1.8 sentra. From what I hear and the research i’ve done, the qg isn’t really worth building since there isn’t much aftermarket support for them. I wanna swap the motor but I’m not sure what are the best options. I thought about a K swap but they are getting too expensive, VQs are okay but I don’t really wanna do a VQ, SR20 is also getting too expensive along with the KA20. I was thinking of a D series swap since I already have one on hand or maybe even doing a ecoboost swap (which i don’t think neither has been done before). Anyone have any suggestions/opinions they can lend?
