Motor and Tranny mounts

Hey all, my car is in the shop and I figure it would be a good time to replace the transmission and motor mounts since the rear motor mount is torn and the other mounts are showing some pretty bad signs of wear.

What should I replace the mounts with? Just go cheap with the regular mounts or can I use MMIs to put off replacing the whole mount? I think I've read that you can still use MMIs even if the actual mounts are in bad shape?

Been having trouble determining what fits my 2002 GXE also, most poly MMIs are for a Spec :/

I'm confused that I can only find information on the front and rear motor mounts but what about the passenger side motor mount and the transmission mount??

Do they sell poly inserts for the side and transmission mounts or full poly mount replacements? I already saw the Unofficial "QG18DE" performance upgrade thread The link there for MMIs shows inserts that fir the 2.0L, will those actually fit my GXE?

Lastly, what are my other options besides MMIs for a GXE? Is Prothane the only other option?

Thanks guys!

I replaced mine not long ago with Nissan OEM mounts, and took the opportunity to windo-weld them before installing. If my first mounts lasted 220,000km with auto-x use, I'm sure these will last until the car is done.

This is the way to go if you don't feel like using something like a nylatron or prothane insert. The window weld is actually a good option. You just need to let it cure fora couple of days. I left mine out all day in the sun for the first day and second day. I think the cure is roughly 48hrs. Gotta consider though this for a bead around a windsheild.
