Date: Sunday June 17th, 2001.
Time: 6:00am till wee hours at night.
Location: Columbus 151 Speedway(Columbus, WI)/My House - BBQ(Lyndon Station, WI)/Cruise(Wisconsin Dells, WI)
Here are the specifics of the meet.
-Parking Lot Autocross.
-BBQ.
-Cruising.
That is the list of events. Here is the actual schedule of events and times of everything going down.
6:00am, Meet at my house or in the Dells for like 10 minutes for everyone to show up.
6:30am, Depart from the Dells on to Columbus 151 Speedway in Columbus, WI.
8:00am, Arrive at Columbus 151 Speedway.
8:00 AM to 10:00 AM - Registration.
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Tech inspection
9:00 AM to 9:30 AM - Walk the track
9:30 AM to 11:00 AM - Open Practice
11:30 AM - ??? - Timed Runs
Usually you can get in about 2-3 practice runs. Once we have those in it is time for the timed runs. Last year they averaged about 6 timed runs, but if you don;t want to do that many you don't have to. Autocrossing is all about having fun, but if you do well the top 1/3 of the class get trophies. Some things you you are required to bring if you want to participate are:
-SNELL-APPROVED helmet (loaners usually available)
-Seatbelts(I'm sure you guys have these
-Sleeved shirt
-Full shoes
Once the timed runs are done we will chill out for a while and b.s. about cars at the track or whatnot and then we will head back to my house for a BBQ. After that if anyone feels up to it we can go for a cruise in the Dells or if anybody wants to walk the strip this is also an option.
The cost of the autocross is $25. But if like say 10 people or more are interested I will try and get us a discount or something.
Well, let me know what you all think.
