Hello, I was under the car today preparing for some transmission swapping (5 to 6). I noticed my Nismo Lower Tie Bar has been seriously deformed by an impact. I haven't measured it yet but it looked like the centre of the LTB (under the engine mounts) had been pushed back maybe 2 inches.

So if you know your triangle math, this means some deformed metal at the connections. Has anyone dealt with this? I'm hoping I can just replace parts and that this isn't a frame issue.

If it is a frame issue, I might just live with it. The impact that caused it must have been years ago, and it hasn't killed me yet. I gotta get under my car more... I couldn't tell from looking front to back, so I probably fooled myself whenever it did happen, "oh that was nothing, it looks straight from here".

really is depends on how much its bent, do you have any pics of the damage? i have a couple of small bends in my lower control arms, but the control arms themselves are still straight. did you get an alignment? they usually tell you if one wheel was way out, if you dont see abnormal tire wear of course.
