Hi, guys. So I've had a P0171 for as long as I can remember. I got an aftermarket MAF from ebay, and the car would idle at low RPMs, stall, and had zero power. I reinstalled the old one and the car worked fine, save for the P0171.

I decided to try this again and found another MAF on ebay. The idle went from ~800 to ~1100 and got a power boost BUT the car would stall in neutral and halved my mileage (17 mpg highway isn't working for me!). Put the old one back in back but I have near zero acceleration.
TL;DR: Cheap MAFs suck

SO I'm done with the crappy MAFs and I see you guys recommend a genuine part for the MAF. Where do you recommend I find one? Thanks!

you don't specify which engine, and what year. that makes a difference. I have had good luck with Rock Auto. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy parts on ebay. Also, how do youknow it is the right part number? If there is a problem with it, then where do you go? the seller has your money... at Rock Auto, you can return it if it is bad.

for maf, normally we recommend genuine nissan maf. everything else is mostly junk.
