Where did you find this out at? Because my dealer would just laugh unless I have proof. Mine are streaking now.

The best ones I have used so far are the Bosch micro edge wipers. I used the Ansco (sp?) blades once and they were as noisy as the ones I just replaced.
Bosch as good but wear out very fast i would say use a coat of rain-X on your windsheild and then get the bosch blades I have found this combonation works the best

Bosch are what i'm using and I agree they do wear out pretty fast...But like chip mentioned i'll have to try the Rain-X

Rain-X is great. You put some of that on and you don't need wipers anymore.

Rain-X is great for one thing. Ok, 2 things.

The strange look old people and overbearing mom's in Expeditions give you as you go down the freeway @ 70mph in a pouring thunderstorm and no wipers on is so priceless.

Rain-X really has SOOOOO many advantages, everyone should use it. The obvious, wiperless cleaning of rain. Allows bug juice to glide off with wiper sweep and washer fluid. Keeps frost from building up. Allows ice and snow to be swept off without effort.

you can get Rain-x at any auto parts store,,walmart carries it as well as alot of other major stores and it runs about $4.00 a bottle...

I use it every now and again. But we both know you have aa slight haze all of the time.

The Rain-X shouldn't leave a haze. If it does, it wasn't buffed out enough.

y2k is correct. you have to rub and rub until the haze is gone.

it is well worth it. i've used th stuff for years. now they have a spray pump bottle in addition to the classic pour spout.

I've used Rain-X for a year and they worked great (without using wipers). But I think the Rain-X leaves a thin film of oil and that damages the wiper blades. What I do is I have to reapply Rain-X once a month and forget about the wipers. The wipers would make some annoying sound after a while.

Rain-X also has anti-fog for interior windows but they are useless and very hard to apply probably (it leaves a haze very easly).
I've tried really wiping it and still leaves a haze. Do you keep going over it with a cotton cloth? Or is there something I'm missing??

i use newspaper. it does not have a oil base like some paper towels do.

Rain-X WArning!

Do NOT let any Rain X get on the paint of your car. There is a warning on the bottle for this but it is quite small.

On my '89 Maxima I used Rain X last summer and got some on the hood - a few drops, and it ate through the paint right to the primer. On a newer car it might not go down that far but it can definitely damage paint so be careful when applying that you don't drip ANY on the car!

Think of Rain-X as being wax/polish for your windows. It can take quite a bit of buffing to get all the haze off, I will admit.
