what does ipdm stand for? intelligent power distribution module? this is normally a b16 or altima issue. i thought this was like an entire relay box somewhere? have you looked in the 06 fsm? there is something called an auto activate test ive done once on an altima to check the ipdm. you really need to figure out what your symptoms are, if its your ipdm, you should be missing a lot of power to many accessories.

this is quoted from another forum, so its something like this:
"Here is a way to test the IPDM: Turn the ignition key to the on position, press your door switch 10 times, turn the ignition off then turn it back to the on position. If you do this right your horn will beep and the oil light will start flashing. The defroster ,headlights, cooling fans, wipers, and compressor clutch will cycle, so make sure that your hood is open so you can here the clicks of the compressor clutch. This is called the auto active test and this tests the main relays in the IPDM."

Ok awesome thanks... and yea I believe the b16s have ipdm boxes not the b15s... My father in law works at the Nissan plant and believes that the ignition relay is going bad on my 06 spec but I thinks its the crank and cam sensors... thanks for replying

cam & crank sensors have been recalled, and are very common problems, check your vin with a dealership in case your vehicle missed a recall, there are ecu reprograms for those sensors as well. however, youll only have problems with the motor starting or running smooth if one of those sensors is failing. but you havent described any symptoms...or posted an ses code...
