Here's the issue: recently, the clutch on my 02 Spec V has become very inconsistent as to the point where it starts to grab. Over the past 6 years I've had it, it has always started to grab about 1/3 of the way through the "stroke" of the clutch. Now, it has started grabbing almost immediately as it comes up off from the fully depressed position (Approximately 1/2 inch off the floor), but only once in a while. I've noticed when it does this the pedal also doesn't fully return, and I often have to kick it upwards with my toe to get the pedal to fully return. I've checked the fluid and its full and the color looks good. I've had the car to my mechanic, who checked the slave, lubed the mechanism on the master and bled the clutch just to see if he could fix it, but couldn't get the clutch to misbehave to be sure. (It only does this maybe once or twice in every 10 times I drive the car) Needless to say, it isn't fixed. Any ideas? (Other than the standard "Its an 02 Spec V, what do you expect?")

normally you would start with slave then master cylinders, if you do those, might want to flush the fluid and use a higher temp fluid, search for fluids, and def get a stainless clutch line. there's also a return spring on the clutch pedal, but that doesnt sound like your problem.
