I think I saw this posted before? Has anyone else had trouble with interior scuffs/scratches?
My little brother (I am in the big Brother program - he is 9) hopped in the car on Friday with his backpack and one of the plastic buckle things rubbed against my glove compartment door. Now there is like a 6 inch long scratch across it (luckily it's further down where I can't see it when I am driving or else it would drive me berserk). I have never owned a car that scratches quite this easily inside! It looks just like a surface type scratch that would just be wiped away with just some water but it will not come off! I think this is because it's a slightly rougher surface.
Anyone have any recommendations? I don't think, 2 months into having this car, tha I will be able to live with this big scratch on it in such an obvious place. I don't want to try any cleaning fluid that has bnee untested fo fear of doingm ore damage. Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and gte a new glove compartment box....
I've noticed a few scuffs here and there - mostly by the bottom of the doors, but it is expected there...oh well...
Any other ideas? My one thought was the use like a gray crayon to cover it up (Gotta get that box of 96 crayola's!) - they do this on wood furniture - it covers/fills in the scratch so you don't see it.
Anyone else have the same trouble? Any other recommendations?
