I bought a set of mudguards to install, and the rears fit, but the fronts don't. I checked against the Kelly Blue Book site, and the specs they list for the Sentra state that the mudguards are not available when the Performance Package is ordered.

Does anyone have factory mudguards on their PP equipped SR20DE Sentra, or did you have to take the factory mudguards and modify them to fit? It looks as though I need to trim off some plastic from the mudguard to make it work, but don't want to do so unless there aren't any specifically for our PP equipped cars.

I know we've talked about this a million times before, the sill extensions on the PP cars cover the mounting holes and space meant for the splash guards.

I believe someone fashioned a custom-set for the front end, but don't recall who.

Yeah... the factory ones will not fit on the front if you
have the performance package.

A couple of people, myself included, bought mudflaps from
Autozone. I can't remember the exact make or number, but
if you do a search for Autozone, it may pop up.

They fit well... Looks are so so... I'm sure I could have
trimmed them to look better, but I wanted as much paint
protection as I could get.

As far as I know, Nissan hasn't yet made available a set of front splashguards that will fit the SE with the PP. What I ended up doing was buying a set of generic *flat* splashguards from Walmart and installing them using the existing 3 fender screws at the bottom rear of each front wheel well, thereby negating the need to drill. The generic front splashguards were thin enough so that I could mount them using the existing screws; if you get a thicker one, you might need to get slightly longer fender screws to mount them.

Hope that helps!

Yup !

SplashGuard #1, autozone has them, I we got them at Canadian Tire.

15$ CND.

They look ok, nothing great, but it doesnt really show they arent stock, and it protects at least.

Here's a copy of a message that I posted a while back:

I took some pictures today of my car with the cheap-***, $4-a-set mud flaps from Autozone. I'm not much of a photographer, and the digital camera is pretty ****ty (work's, not mine), but you should get a good idea of how it looks. I think that they look pretty good, and they perform their job well.

First off, if you can't tell from the pictures, they're flat. None of this molded crap. This allows them to fit just fine on the front and back. Hell, I didn't even have to take off my wheels or jack the car up!

The front flaps are just screwed in with the front sill pieces, and the backs are held on with those clip things. The flaps are also plenty long to provide some nice coverage, and you can even adjust how far down you want them to go when you're putting them on!

Anyway, I don't see how those Nissan ones are supposed to provide any protection. They're so small. All I know is that I have had these on my car since I first purchased it back in August, and the sides are still as beautiful as the day I left the lot (although a little dirty from the rain last week).

Cheap-***, but front fitting , Mud Flaps
