Well, its Similar...not the same. It is possible to raise the rev-limiter via the JWT B14 ECU, but it is not an easy task. It would require that the wiring harness be permanently altered to accept the older ECU. You would lose many of the new emissions control devices, and the car would most likely not pass emsissions.
Until JWT comes out with a cam that can take advantage of the extra room up top, the benefit of the 7,700RPM redline would be negligable.
As of right now, no one even knows if JWT is working on a B15 specific ECU. With the new Se-r coming out, it is looking doubtful.
