My Sentra pretty much runs and looks like a new car - which it should, after all the money I spent on it recently; but it seems as though the idle speed is about 50 RPMs too low. It idles (when warmed up) around 700 RPMs, but I think it should be around 750 or 800.

Is there an easy way to adjust it slightly upward without having to hook it to a computer or take it to a repair shop? Just wondering!

P.S. THANKS!!

if your tb is drive-by-wire you could try doing an idle relearn again, make sure your vehicle is at operating temp before doing the idle relearn. however, after some driving it may return to this state if everything is running good, the idle drops slightly. otherwise, youll need to hook it up to a computer that can set your idle, like a consult, not every average scanner will set the idle.

if your cable driven, just adjust the cable so its snug, it may be loose if you never adjusted it.
