Hey guys, I got the instructions on how to do this idle relearn but for the life of me I can get it to work. I need some help my car has been idling at 1000- 1100 rpm the past two days and I am sick of it. The Mil light never starts blinking.
Yeah, why is that happening? Is it always like that, or just when you start the car up? For the high-tech B15 electrical system, you'll have to get cozy with a dealership to get access to a Consult 2 before you can change your idle/timing.....
When I disconnected my battery to do my stereo, after the car would dip down in idle at stop lights or when shifting and leaving it in neutral, thought it was my intake, but after about 2 weeks it fixed itself and doesn't do it anymore.
Ok I got the idle relearn to work but my car did not return to my normal idle. I didn't do anything to my car lately. It happens only sometimes. Usually would go back to normal after a couple starts and drives. But it has been idling at 1100 rpm for 2 days now and I don't know what to do.
i just installed my CAI today, when at a stop ever now and then not often.... itll dip down to 500 and the motor will shake n then itll go up n righ tback down n then idle normally again, is noraml till the ECU learns? or is my maf getting *** raped
mine has done that ever since i got my CAI... its been over a year now.. i havent noticed any ill effects of it other than it just being annoying... ive tampered with the thottle cable thinking maybe that would help but it doesnt... i dunno now i just leave it alone... although when i got my header it stopped doing it 1/2 as much... therefor ive concluded it has something to do with airflow... either too much or to little or the difference from accelerating to stopping
No I still haven't gotten the car painted, I haven't even gotten the new suspension in yet but that's getting started within the next 2 weeks. Right now I'm reshaving the trunk lid, bought 6"x1/2" led tail lights to flush into the trunk lid, have to shave the taillights and finish some other minor body work first.
Back to this topic, does anyone know how to do the idle relearn on an SE???
