Anyone doing anything to prepare their car for the hurricane? Somehow I get the sinking feeling that I'm gonna find a tree on my car tomorrow morning....

Don't park under a tree...:)

I went through a bad one called Georges back in 97 and a few other before that.

120mph winds direct hit. 14 hours of crazy sh-t. This one isn't that bad but its pretty big. 100-110mph winds can do some damage but the worse thing is going to be rain. Park in a garage, car port with no trees around it. If not then just try to park your car somewhere HIGH no flood areas and somewhere with NO trees to worry about... Remember if you do get hit crack at least one of your windows in the house. When winds are over 100mph and the pressure drops the doors will start to shack rattle and roll. The windows will flex and your hears will pop. To reduce all this crack your window. Good luck

sell your car and house and buy a shrimp boat, then sail out into the hurricane, tie yourself to the top of the mast, and proceed to have a talk with god.
