where can i find out what other codes mean because my car gave me the code 0420 and i didn't find it on the list and i looked in the horrible owners manual for anything and got nothing??

FYI........................FYI............................FYI
if the SRS light is on it could be cause you primed the SRS system which means that 1 of the 2 stages of airbag deployment has been activated so just hitting the breaks to hard, bumping the car, etc. could set them off usually though if it will send another code after you reset it so if the SRS light keeps coming back I'd get it checked and it means getting one or both new air bags

It's just not... working
I have an '02 spec with an '03 QR25DE (kept the '02 ECU though) and I tried it a bunch of times with and without a watch and couldn't get it to work. I never see the MIL light flashing. Although my idle is pretty high, so I'll see if it can be fixed in the same manner as Oktober.

And is there a way to reset the SES light without being in diagnostic mode?

^ make sure you are in the car, and the doors are shut when you are doing this. the first time i tried it i had my leg hanging out the door, and it wouldnt work either.

I was doing it with the door open but I thought about closing it afterwards and it still didn't work. Maybe my timing is just wayyyy off.

do it with the door closed. it might take 2 or 3 tries, but you should get it.

And does it turn on with all the other lights when you turn the ignition to "on".

What does it mean to be in Diagnostic Test Mode II?

I've completed all the steps up until I want to clear the codes. Everything is flashing, but I am unable to turn the ligh off by holding the pedal down and releasing.

This is a GXE, am I just unable to not clear the codes, only read them?

Watch out with a GXE if the procedure involve gas pedal, you will flood the engine

Been having a terrible time trying to reset my abs, on the data link when I go to erase codes, do I ground terminal 9 to terminal 1 three times? I'm using a stop watch so I'm under 12.5 seconds, each ground is more than 1 second, doors shut, radio off, lights off. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
