i have somewhat of a similar problemplacenta said:did it. but i used the snip and tie method. I will never want this feature back. Works fine, and now i can use the A/C for defrost only when i feel like it.
my damn knob doesnt turn all the way to defrost, kinda fights the cable.. didnt figure anything out yet, tried to fix it while i had it apart.. from the looks, it appears to be on the other end of the cable sticking, not the switch end of the cable.. ill do a search and see if others have this.
IF YOU CONFIRM A 2002 or 2003 Sentra has any of the following symptoms: · Air flow amount is different between the left and right side of the center AC/Heater vents · "Flapping" noise from the center AC/Heater vents · Temperature Control (Air Mix) Knob is stuck · Temperature Control (Air Mix) Knob turns freely but will not change the temperature · Mode Control Knob is stuck Refer to this bulletin for detail information.
lol i had a whole post about this, its this foam stuck in the vents so it doesn't blow directly in your eye, its normal though, u can always have them rip it out if it bothers u... not a bad idea too memetalhead said:ok
