How much noise from sunroof?

For those with the sunroof, Do you get much noise at highway speed when the glass is closed with the inner cover thing open? I have always noticed a decent amount of wind noise but lately its been bothering me more. Also I read on another post about a 1yr/12k mi on the sunroof and not the 3yr/30k. Any thoughts? I wanna get some info from you guys before I bring it to the dealer and complain. thanks as always!

When I live the inner cover open I do notice a moderate amount of wind noise driving 70-80mph on the highways. When I close the cover the noise pretty much disappears. My sunroof doesn't leak and it's not terribly loud so it doesn't bother me.

Hey this topic was discussed a long long time ago,,,But if I rememeber correctly a few people on the boards had it checked out and had the moldong or something like replaced....but do a search and maybe you can find the topic,,to help you out better

yeah, i posted something last week on my sunroof. i bring in to the dealer this tuesday. i would talk to your dealer about the 12month/12k warrenty, because i have talked to two different dealerships...one was the one that informed me of the warrenty, and the other acted like they had no idea. so, good luck. i am hoping that this doesn't turn out to be a bigger deal than what it is...i just want my sunroof fixed so that no water gets in, and it doesn't sound like i have all four windows down.

MK This seems to be my same situation but looks like other people got their seals replaced or something. I may have too many miles though I'll have to bust out the manual. I've got 15k mi now. Some guys were talkin about the 1yr/12k limitation. I'll see, plus if you read my other post my dealers are b|tches so I hate going in for stuff...
