So I have a 02 spec V with the audio fanatic package, with a stock R/F head unit from an 04 spec V. Problem I'm having is both front and rear left speakers have stopped working. The left A pillar mounted tweeter is still operational though. Where should I start looking???

I have an 06 with the RF audio package. There is an amplifier in the trunk that powers the front speakers, including the tweeters, and the subwoofer. The rear speakers are powered from the head-unit, not the amp.

Check the balance/fader settings on the head-unit. Sometimes it's the simplest things that cause the worst problems. That is a truly puzzling problem you have.
