Ok, here is the rundown:
Thursday, put key in ignition, turn over... nothing happens. I can hear the fuel pump prime, but when the key turns over it doesn't even try to start the car. Find a loose battery connection, so I figure it's a dead battery, tighten the battery clamp, get a boost, and it starts right up. Drive home, put the battery on the charger to make sure it gets fully charged.
Friday: take the van to work instead.
Saturday: Try to start the car, it fires up, although a little hesitant.
Monday: Try to start the car first thing and it cranks and cranks but won't catch. So, figure the battery is toast. Take the van to work, go and get a new battery. Put in new battery. Turns over but doesn't catch a couple of times. Then goes into the 'doesn't even try to turn over' mode. So I figure the new battery must not be very well charged... put the boosters on it, but it still doesn't even try to start. Check battery voltage: 12.76 volts. Check ecm codes: none.
Anybody have any ideas!?!?
