I have a 2001 nissan sentra I have an issue with the rp m's going up and down sporadically when try to accelerate I have replaced the engine wiring harness idle air control valve the coolant sensors the egr temperature sensor the the throttle position sensor and still nothing when I bought the car it had an idle air control valve code we found that it had high resistance in the wiring harness so I purchased a new 1 still when you press throttle the tack jumps up to 2000 rpm's and down sporadically????????

seems you got most of the basic sensors replaced. if your throttle body is drive-by-wire (not cable driven) there's an idle relearn you can do and will most likely solve your problem.

otherwise, you need to check for vacuum or other air leaks, did your ses light come on? if so, post the codes. from what youre saying, it seems possible you have other wiring issues elsewhere. make sure your battery terminals are tight and ground has good contact? checked voltage motor on&off?
