2000 Nissan Sentra 1.8L. Have been havihng a very hard time getting gas into tank. Pulled evap all apart and blew out with air last year. Did not find any blackage. It quit doing it for a while, now has started again. Pulled the selenoid, jumped it across the battery, valve moved about an eighth to a quarter inch.

Not sure what else to look at. When should the selinoid get the signal to open?

Thansk,

sounds like your talking about the vent valve. i think theres a pressure or overflow for the fuel tank. did you look in the fsm for this? it should be in there. im guessing you always overfill your tank?

Yes, what I am checking is the EVAP canister vent control valve.

I also see in diagrams:
Vacuum cut valve
Vacuum cut valve bypass valve
EVAP control system pressure sensor
EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve (under hood)
Refueling control valve (inside tank)
Refueling EVAP vapor cvut valve (inside tank)

Also, right now it is being driven without the EVAP canister vent control valve installed or plugged in. I notice no differencew in the way it runs and no difference in the poroblem pumping in gas.
