I heard it's possible to get manual transmission fluid in the trans by removing the speedometer sensor. I only say this because my fill plug is rounded and I can't get it to budge (the drain moves fine, though).

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the speedo sensor to get fluid in? It's a 2000 Sentra 2.0L. Thanks!

Yikes. Even if you find another hole higher in the trans case to get the fluid in, how would you know how much fluid to add, as you're supposed to add it until the fluid is flush with the fill hole and no more?

hopefully, youve used a malet and lots of pb blaster. i believe you can lightly torch the fill bolt as well. if hes using a pump, he can fill the pump with x amount of fluid, and could possibly get it close to where it need to be. it will be very difficult to get the exact amount without using the fill bolt. did you try bringing it to a shop, where they have more tools, and could possibly open this up for you? next time, be sure to use new washers.
