ok I was doing it got everything off and the box would not slide off of the tube with the sensor on it I didnt want to mess with the senor so any ideas on how to get it off

If you're talking about the bottom half of the box, then don't forget that there's screws on the INSIDE of the bottom of the box. After that, there's another screw on the outside if I remember correctly. When you're all done, try jiggling it a little bit. It'll come off eventually.

If you look at it closely you'll notice on the tube that runs under the car has a little nipple sorta thing on it and the filter box has a groove if you press the little nipple and wiggle at the same time it should pop off easier.......

Please help...I took off the intake box (just like how it is shown on the TECH ARTICLE) and didn't know what to do with the wires on the top of the box. You know, the one that we had to loosen so that we could take of the top end of the box. The wires ran along that metal bar and the "clip" at the end where it led into the ontake box said "BOOSTER SENSOR". I put in on the side and did the mod, and I started the car and my "check engine soon" light came on and stayed on. I put everything back to normal and took it to Nissan where they ran a test and said that the Mass Air Flow Meter malfunctioned. What's going on?????

yeah enemigo, it did work. i still took it in for the sun visor and i told them to run a check also. i got it back and he said that the Mass Air Flow Sensor or something "malfuctioned." Probably cuz of me, but yeah, my car is back to normal. Saturday around noon i free till 5, so maybe i'll show you around then? gimme a call. laters bro.
