Right now I own a 97 semi-modded civic with 90,000 miles and I'm looking for something new. I chose a 2001 Black Sentra Se with PP b.c it is a totally awesome car. I absolutely love it. I it so much better then my car was in stock condition. I can't wait to do some mods to this car. But only stereo and cosmetic. Im not going to ricify this one lol. I hope to talk to a lot of you in the future. Thanks in advance for all the info.

Good luck with the car.I bought mine in mid December. Due to the weather and some other commitments I only put a few hundred miles on when I took it back to the dealer. It's now awaiting a new tranny. Hope yours turns out better. I believe mine is a fluke. I believe it is a solid car and will serve me well. Welcome aboard!! This is a great sight.

Hey Nismo_Girl,
Welcome to the board. I can kinda share your feelings. My other car is a suped up Accord. I got my SE back in Aug 2000. I have like 10000 miles on it and it has been great. Very quick, solid and for me, reliable. All I do is put gas, change the oil and VRRRRROOOOOOMMMMM.

I plan to only do performance mods (SR20DE engines respond VERY well to bolt on mods

)on this car because my Honda attracted too much bad attention...in fact, it got stolen last week and was stripped. I'm waiting to see what the verdict is and whatever money they give me, I'm going to use it to pay off the Sentra

The torque converter had some abnormal wear on it. Factory doesn't know why. It started with the "service engine soon" light. It should have said "service transmission soon" I'm sure this board is tired of my story, but I can't drive it so what's a bro' to do??

Well I love my civic but it does have a lot of miles and with the stupid stuff I did, it would need a bunch of $ to make it really driveable again. Right now it needs new shocks b.c my coilovers totally ate up the shocks I have on it, needs new brakes again, and new headlights b.c the dealership stripped the plastic screw holes so I now have duct tape holding my light bulbs in. LOL It has almost 91k miles and its only a 97 so I'm just looking for something new. The first time I saw the 2k1 Sentra I had mixed opinions but then I drove it and I love it. Thanks for having a board where I can get lots of info and just chat.
