Hey Everyone I have a 04 SPEC V that just died on me - the mech says that cylinder 2 and 4 are not working. Before it blew it was misfiring for a month and I would constantly loose power when leaving the car parked over night.

Do you think its worth fixing or should I swap in a new engine? (Also do you know who I should contact to swap in an engine or where I could buy the engine from?)

did you have the stock oem header on it?
if yes - you need to rebuild the top and bottom end, or replace the motor
if no - you just need to replace the headgasket, unless it overheated, then youll needa shave

sound like the unfixed misfiring was dumping fuel into your cats causing massive corrosion, and you ultimately suffered from precat failure. this is assuming your mech is correct of course
