Hey,

I've had my 03 SE-R Spec V for 3 years now. It's only around 130k miles. It's on its second engine after the first one choked and misfired for months before finally blowing up (I'm betting the notorious butterfly valve screw came loose and got sucked into the cylinder or something like that). Now it's fresh and runs like new, and that screw's never coming out again.

I haven't had the time to play around and add stuff but sooner or later I shall.

Just one problem: the A/C turns on randomly regardless of the button being pressed or not.

Otherwise (if you get past the engine problems at the start) it's been a great ride. I live in New Mexico, jackrabbits and antelope love to hop out in front and this car's handled 70+ MPH swerves like a boss...it's tight but I miss not being able to feel every bump down the road. Good on gas, low insurance, buku torque, what more could you ask for?

welcome aboard!

dont forget to read the precat and butterfly faq here:

so i would find a catless header if you havent gotten one already, just keep your stock oem header in tact if youre in a smog or visual inspection state.

as for your ac coming on automatically, you must have it on a defrost position. this is normal operation. you can mod this so your ac compressor only comes on with the ac button itself by doing the disable auto ac mod. theres a microswitch on the bottom of the hvac unit, just flip the switch over so the dial does not hit it.
